Cedar Creek High School

Cedar Creek High School
Egg Harbor City, NJ
Architect: Faridy Veisz Fraytak

Metropolitan Acoustics coordinated with Faridy Veisz Fraytak Architects to design and help implement over 50 audio/visual technology-enhanced classrooms in the new 190,000 sq. ft. high school for Greater Egg Harbor School District in Mays Landing, New Jersey.

Each classroom includes a permanently installed video projector, interactive white board, sound system and simplified control system. All of the A/V systems within the school are networked together through the use of Crestron’s RoomView Enterprise software. The school’s technology staff can monitor, manage and control every device in every room remotely from any computer connected to the district’s network.

Additionally, Metropolitan Acoustics was responsible for interior room acoustics design, interior isolation, mechanical system noise control and A/V system design for the Dance Studio, Drama Lab, Television Studio, Instrumental Music Room, Vocal Music Room, Gymnasium and Auditorium. The school opened its doors in September 2010.
