Lockheed Martin: Program Review Center Training Facility – Moorestown, NJ

Lockheed Martin is a global security and aerospace company known for building the finest military aircraft in the world.  Headquartered in Bethesda, Maryland and with over 500 facilities throughout the United States, the Moorestown office Building 135 was slated for a renovation to accommodate a Program Review Center training facility and 300-person auditorium for the MST – Mission Systems and Training division.   The existing space was a one-floor slab of approximately 20,000sf and was used for offices.

Metropolitan Acoustics provided the interior room acoustics, acoustical isolation/speech privacy, and mechanical noise and vibration control consulting services for the new auditorium, training rooms, administrative offices and lobby.

For Audio Visual, the design services for the auditorium and four training rooms included approximately 130 video/computer inputs, over 200 audio inputs, mix matrix audio reinforcement, 3 side-by-side projection systems, and a full audio surround sound system.  Secure and non-secure connections for video conferencing, audio conferencing and network audio/video streaming were also included within the system.  The end user has the ability to run a standard meeting or presentation from a touch panel control system.  For a more advanced meeting, a team of technicians can operate the entire system manually from a digital mixing consol, HD digital video switcher and an A/V router.

Additionally, we provided construction administration services to ensure conformance to specifications and inspect installation of specified systems.
