SouthStar Lofts – a mixed use project of retail and luxury apartments was awarded the Best Commercial Project over $10 million in 2014 by the General Building Contractors Association. This Dranoff property designed by JKR Partners, is located along the vibrant Avenue of the Arts corridor in Philadelphia – convenient to shopping, theater and public transportation. Metropolitan Acoustics provided consultation on floor/ceiling and wall assemblies to ensure appropriate isolation between apartments. We also provided recommendations to isolate the parking garage exhaust fan noise to nearby residential properties.
