The Summer 2017 issue of Context Magazine, an AIA Philadelphia publication, features a transformative project that we worked on with VSBA Architects. The Design Profile starts on page 28 and details the unique collaboration between the public and private sectors in the new South Philadelphia Community Health and Literacy Center. With a full-service pediatric care clinic, a community health center, a free library, and a recreation center, this new facility is an important new hub of services and activity in this neighborhood.
Metropolitan Acoustics provided consultation and design in a number of different areas across our scope of services. We provided comprehensive A/V and sound-masking design services for much of the building, including public address and mass notification systems and GUI-based control systems for staff and conference rooms throughout the building. We also provided sound isolation and acoustics consultation as well as mechanical systems noise and vibration control.
