Making Sound Decisions in School Acoustics

Classroom design and educational facility design in general has evolved dramatically over the last few decades, and acoustics are a vital component of the learning and teaching experience.

In this blog post on the Healthy Facilities website, Metropolitan Acoustics’ Senior Consultant Seth Harrison explains the fundamentals of good acoustics for learning spaces. He explains the importance of background sound levels, room acoustics, and sound isolation in classrooms, performance spaces, and lecture halls.
