One of our big mixed-used projects in downtown Philadelphia was featured recently in an article about the strength and growth of retail real estate in our home city. East Market is one of the major anchor buildings on a shopping and residential corridor east of City Hall that is in the midst of a dramatic redefinition. The area is being redeveloped with outward-looking street-level stores and restaurants where there used to be an indoor shopping mall and a mix of stores and retail spaces that were not serving the area to its potential.
East Market is a residential/hotel/retail development that is across the street from the Convention Center and will be a vital hub of retail and human activity in this rapidly redeveloping section of the city. Construction is well underway and the future looks bright for this neighborhood. More information can be found in this article.
