The ACE Mentor Program of Eastern Pennsylvania recently awarded the 2018 Collaboration of the Year award to Center City Philadelphia’s Market Street Revitalization. The Philadelphia’s Market Street Revitalization is a combination of three separate but very closely related renewal projects: Fashion District Philadelphia, East Market, and The Lits Brothers Building.
Metropolitan Acoustics is providing design recommendations for exterior-to-interior sound isolation, interior acoustical isolation between residential units and between floors, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing system noise and vibration control for the East Market project. East Market will be a destination for dining, shopping and creative office space, bringing revitalized life to Center City Philadelphia with an exciting, vibrant mixed-use project. Construction for phase two is underway, with initial move in date expected in late Fall of 2018.
Founded in 1994, the ACE program encourages high school students to pursue careers in architecture, engineering and construction through mentoring and support of their continued advancement in the industry. The 17th annual scholarship breakfast was held on May 23th. Metropolitan Acoustics is proud to support this program.
