Amy Guttman Hall Bringing Timber to 34th & Chestnut

Amy Guttman Hall is the University of Pennsylvania’s latest endeavor: a six floor, 116,000 square foot data science building coming to 3317-33 Chestnut Street. In keeping with Penn’s commitment to carbon neutrality, this building will utilize mass timber in lieu of concrete and is pursuing a minimum certification of LEED Silver. Metropolitan was lucky enough to start working on this beautiful building back in 2019 and we are very excited to see it come in to it’s final stages.
