Amy Gutmann Hall under construction

It’s been two years since the ceremonial ground breaking at the new School of Engineering and Applied Science at 34th and Chestnut Streets, and topping off has recently occurred. This building is a hub for data science and is the first large scale mass timber building in Philadelphia. Eighty-two truckloads of mass timber were brought in to construct the 116,000 SF, six-story building. We recently stopped by for a site visit to see how things were coming along and got some great progress pictures.
