Director of Sound Modeling
Xian began her career in audio and acoustics in 2009 after receiving a Master’s Degree in Audio Sciences from the Johns Hopkins University. Xian is an AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist, and the recipient of the Newman Medal awarded by the Acoustical Society of America for Merit in Architectural Acoustics.
She has managed room acoustics, sound system design, sound isolation, and noise control projects during her tenure with Metropolitan Acoustics. As the Director of Sound Modeling, she provides in-house trainings and develops proprietary measurement data processing software.
At her previous position, she designed the loudspeaker systems for World Cup Stadiums and Olympic Stadiums. She also writes software for the professional audio industry. Representative work includes CAFViewer™, Forecaster HD, and Filter Hose.
