Bungalow Beach Boardwalk Run

She’s at it again! At the beginning on the month, Felicia participated in Atlantic City’s Boardwalk 5miler Run. It started on the Boardwalk at Iowa Ave. in front of Tropicana Casino and finished on the beach for a 400ft dash to the finish line. Afterwards the racers were rewarded with cold beers at the Bungalow Beach Bar. Check out Felicia’s hard work here.

Closing of the Sir Isaac Julien Exhibit

During the final days of the Lina Bo Bardi – A Marvellous Entanglement exhibition at the Philadelphia Art Museum, members of the Balé Folclórico da Bahia traveled from Brazil to Philadelphia to perform in response to this installation. This performance, directed by Isaac Julien and choreographed by José Carlos Arandiba (Zebrinha), activated the architecture of the Museum’s Williams Forum in a conversation across art, architecture, and performance spanning historical and cultural contexts. 2023 Broad Street Run

Our fearless leader, Felicia, continued her tradition of running the annual Broad Street Run, the country’s largest 10-mile road race. She braved the elements to complete ten soggy miles. The city of Philadelphia came out in full support to cheer on the runners despite the weather and keep spirits soaring high. As always, we admire her tenacity and dedication to running. Have you ever been so engrossed reading something that you didn’t hear someone talking to you? Or hard at work while listening to music and suddenly realize you weren’t really listening for the last few minutes?
